We have been home schooling, or home-educating as it known in the UK, for eight years. It’s our chosen way of life. However, in the beginning we were filled with anxiety about how it was going to work for our children and us, as parents. Our son, Alexander was six when we decided to take him out of school, and the one piece of advice that was like gold to us was, ‘Don’t do school.’ In other words, don’t try to turn home into school. It can be concluded from above mentioned facts that education is not responsible for unemploymentIt is the education system and ways in which education is provided which are responsible for unemployment in Pakistan. The education system of Pakistan is not up to date and needs modifications including uniform education system throughout the country, revision of syllabus, student counselling facilities, setup of new vocational and technical institutions and training workshops for teachers. These modification certainly can reduce the rate of unemployment in Pakistan.

I have decided to home school my daughter. We can’t really afford private schools, and public schools have destroyed their curriculum with standardized tests. I am curious to see what you all think. We go to different playgroups where the toys are always fresh, new and exciting to him.
Simply having a disability is not sufficient to qualify a student for services under the IDEA – there must be evidence that the child’s disability has a direct impact on the child’s ability to learn. The movement towards major change that began quietly in the early 1980’s has been picking up speed ever since and is now in the process of bringing sweeping changes to how we educate our young.
Being graded in school can actually be quite degrading. Assigning a quality value to a young human being is simply not humanistic. Being graded all the time is actually crippling the students. People learn the most from their mistakes, but mistakes are the worst thing one could do in the context of contemporary schools. We are rewarding following blindly, instead of thinking, risking, evaluating and creating. The best way to get the good grades is to do things exactly in the way you are told to.
