Obviously, this young lady doesn't need much of an introduction... Michelle Marsh, one of the UK's top glamour models and known to millions. In a meteoric rise to fame Michelle has appeared in numerous magazines and newspapers as well as appearing several times on your television set and radio channels.

She has traveled the world to entertain our troops in foreign parts and always entrances us with her warm and friendly smile and her Northern humour - it's no wonder that she's the country's favourite. However, Michelle is not only renowned for her looks... She has appeared on several television soaps including Coronation Street and Holyoaks as well as turning her hand to presenting on late night TV. She is also quite an accomplished singer and, before her modeling days, she regularly trod the boards of many clubs and night spots and delighted the audiences with her talent and her charm.

Her passion has always been singing but until recently she has had little chance to pursue this because the demand to have her pose for the cameras became so persistent and time-consuming.
However, once she made up her mind to leave modelling she was determined to head in that direction once more.

 

On 6 November 2006 Michelle released her first single "I Don't Do", which reached number five in the UK Indie Chart, and reached number 27 in the UK Singles Chart but by the second week it had dropped to 39.

She was still modelling at this time and had recently become engaged to Will Haining, who was at the time a professional footballer playing for St. Mirren. They were married at Auchen Castle in Scotland on 2 June 2007 and it was during the groom's speech that Will told the guests.. "You’ll have noticed Michelle’s not drinking - because she is expecting our first child".

Their daughter Maddison duly arrived and she was followed by a second child, Owen, in late 2010. Stangely, the announcment of this child was also made by Will during his speech at a renewing of their vows and was filmed for TV's Celebrity 4 Weddings.

For a while the couple made their home north of the border near Glasgow but then a transfer meant that Michelle and Will could move back to Michelle's home town of Royton, just outside Oldham.

At the moment Will is still footballing and Michelle, between bringing up her two children, is making inroads back towards her singing career. She has recently performed at several local venues and, as word of her comeback spreads, I'm certain that she will be appearing at a club near you soon.
