Psychology is the study of people’s behavior, performance, and mental operations. It also refers to the application of the knowledge, which can be used to understand events, treat mental health issues, and improve education, employment, and relationships. The subject lies at the intersection of applied, educational, and theoretical science. To this end, pedagogy focused on ending bias and sexism in teaching which discouraged girls from succeeded in math and sciences. New curriculum have been developed to specifically address the specific needs, learning styles and values of girls. Further attempts to improve girl’s skills in science and math has taken an intensive approach by focusing more in depth on science and math inside as well as outside the school. It is hoped a more continuous approach will help improve girls’ knowledge and skills in science and math (Brotman & Moore, 2008).

TV watching at a young age is a controversial topic. Like anything else, moderation is key. Parents need to pay close attention to what and how much their kids are watching. If a child spends all day in front of the TV watching filth, that’s a problem. Fortunately there are many educational shows that can be agreed upon by kids and parents. That being said, at a certain age, most minors do decide whether they will continue to strive in school or not. The ones who do not wish to continue education merely suffer and waste their time. They spend many nonproductive years in school at the cost of the tax payer. Their negative attitudes toward the institution usually cause disruptions in the classroom, derail instruction, and also become a huge point of conflict and strife at home.
