Real estate is said to be one of the best investments that an individual can make, but if this is true, why do so many people fail at it? The truth is that an adequate real estate education is needed in order to help you out along the way because the real estate industry can truly turn on you in a real hurry if you are not prepared. Real estate investments are very likely to yield a generous return if the proper steps are taken, but too many people simply do not have the skills to make these deals happen. These are the people who did not take the time to get a real estate investing education and, therefore, will be more likely to fail when things do not go according to plan. I think I’m favor of k-12 curriculum, just my point of view it maybe long term, but the most important thing ,the students will enhance his/her learning more, students will be more prepared and also they can find job easily because they graduated in high standard will easy for theme to have a job in abroad with just graduating in high school, cause they’re are parents who can’t support they’re child … Read more
Population education is a recent innovation and, as such, is subject to various misinterpretations and misunderstandings. To many people, population education is family planning; to others, it is another name for sex education; still to many others, including teachers, it is synonymous with the teaching of demography and/or population studies. In economically depressed areas in an economically recessed economy and hiring preferences (thus discrimination for the unprefered) homelessness is an outcome of unemployment, not the cause. They don’t pay 5 to 10 cents a can for recycling, or that might help. 2 cents isn’t enough. Some people want you to work for free…not food, not shelter, not trade…but as a slave. Weird world. The solution is equity in hiring.
I don’t have kids, but I think this is a great idea and resource for parents who want to their children to surf the web safely. The internet is flooded with all sorts of information and a lot of filth, so it’s important to ensure that kids go to websites that are safe…well done!

Controversy has raged among educators and professionals working with children with profound hearing loss about whether deaf children benefit from learning sign language. Whereas some argue that sign is the natural language of the deaf, others believe that sign may inhibit the ability to learn vocal and written language. Waldorf schools don’t encourage reading before the second grade and are slow with introducing academics. I have a friend who switched her son from Waldorf school after first grade and he didn’t read or write at all. It fits some people and the emphasis on natural wooden toys is nice if you consider it for a preschool but I am not sure about elementary school. My feelings about this school are mixed. I see a lot of snobbism among parents who sent their kids there.
I read all the comments above… I hope I didn’t miss any point. Except for the thoughts of Daniel Desembrana and comment of Cianeko (just above my posting), all other comments failed to focus on the link between K-12 and individual success or the nation’s economic progress. No one took a time to comment on the structure and content of both the traditional and K-12 systems … Read more
I love to read my students’ poems, and these interactives and poetry collections provide them inspiration and guidance. I’ve seen sparks of creativity fly for children and teens alike. The collections of poems include classic favorites as well as works by contemporary authors AND kids. And readers have added another dozen of their favorite websites to the readers’ recommendations list at the end of this article. Just using the bathroom is now an issue due to current protestations of cross gender kids as is having to worry about physical safety when confronted with mentally deficient students who can pretty much do as they please without consequences. In the UK, the 1880 Act of Parliament made education compulsory for all children under the age of ten. This was extended to 11 and eventually 13 in the 1893 and 1899 Acts of Parliament respectively.
Too much praise makes children overly dependent on others’ opinions. Studies show parents make a more positive impact when they extol their children’s effort and not their performance. Currently the director of the Music Entrepreneurship & Career Center at the Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University, Gerald was previously an accomplished faculty member of the University of … Read more
There are many assumptions about homeless people. Perhaps the most common is that all of them are too lazy to work. Having been there myself and having worked with many others in the same situation, I have to say that for the vast majority of homeless people, the assumption that they are lazy is dead wrong. Higher education typically involves work towards a degree-level or foundation degree qualification. In most developed countries, a high proportion of the population (up to 50%) now enter higher education at some time in their lives. Higher education is therefore very important to national economies , both as a significant industry in its own right and as a source of trained and educated personnel for the rest of the economy.
Ptolemy ordered the construction of the library, which contained over 700,000 scrolls of work. There was also a rule that all ships passing through the Alexandrian harbor had to declare if they had any works of science or philosophy. If they did, the work was copied and placed in the library, and the captain would receive the original copy back. Because of this accumulation of knowledge, many great discoveries took place in the library. For … Read more
Studies have shown that people with similar educatonal and socioeconomic backgrounds have a commonality regarding dating and marriage. They tend to like and appreciate the same things. This reasoning explains why college educated, professional women are better off dating men from a similar background and/or better. It is totally unwise for a college educated, professional woman to date a blue collar man and/or a man who does not have the same level of education that she has. According to the National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID), some professionals in the field of deafness believe that if a child learns to sign, the child will be inhibited from learning vocal and written language. The NTID says that there is no published evidence that learning sign impedes the acquisition of spoken and written language.

As long as you follow the curricula and instructions and you are on time in submitting requirements, you will be fine. My friend was instrumental in organizing the charity, Friends of Tembaletu , joining with another charity, setting up a school near Cape Town, South Africa, to help to educate children with severe physical and intellectual disabilities – children who might otherwise have no education at all, as some of them are considered as outcasts by their family or have no family looking after them, and others who come from families too poor to send them to school and all of whom, sadly, were not provided for by the state. I have seen films of what they have been achieving to help these children, and it is heart-warming. The children, some of whom couldn’t even talk when they started school, are given one-to-one teaching, and, with appropriate play equipment and attention, learn to do things their families never thought possible.

Disclosure: I’m a passionate informal educator and I have a few years of experience as a high school teacher for English as a second language and Physics. I don’t want to say education is unneeded, I simply wish it would change for the better. So let me get on with my point. Write the name of each continent on a piece of paper and place the 7 pieces of paper in a jar or bowl or bag. Let students come up one at a time and draw out a piece of paper. Blindfold them, spin them around and then lead them to the map and let them try to fly their plane to the continent they drew. Make sure you have candy for all the students who are successful.
Business: Consumer psychologists study consumers’ behaviors to find insights that could helpful for businesses. Industrial-organizational psychologists, on the other hand, focus their attention within the company, looking for ways to increase productivity through things such as better employee selection and training or a better designed or organized workplace. Psychologists can work for these businesses as full-time employees or as consultants.

The decision to homeschool your child is a huge, life changing decision. A parent should consider all possible advantages and disadvantages before beginning schooling from their kitchen tabletop. Because of the strong feelings on both sides of the homeschooling debate, sometimes searching parents end up only consuming information from other homeschooling parents. These resources tend to be a bit skewed as they are written by parents that feel they need to defend their choices instead of giving accurate pros and cons to homeschooling. This brings up another big problem with education in America. We don’t have any challenging high school exit or university entrance exams , which are common in other countries. These exams often determine whether a student will make it to university and can exclude them from certain majors if they don’t earn enough points. These exams create a strong external motivation to learn. The SATs may prevent a student from attending a particular university but not from attending university altogether. Plus, the SATs are relatively easy and aren’t based directly on the high school curricula covering numerous subject areas.

While homeless people do commit crimes, sometimes their only crime is being without a place to sleep. It often doesn’t take long for them to get criminal records without doing anything wrong. The charges can be loitering, trespassing or unauthorized camping for falling asleep in a place not designated as a residence. Oddly … Read more
